Express Employment Professionals Offices Unite to Help Fight Hunger With “Brand It Blue Day” on June 11
Express Employment Professionals is a company built on hope and known for helping as many people as possible find good jobs in their goal to put a million people to work annually.
As an internationally franchised company, Express works to match job seekers with employers. And, for the fourth year in a row, Express is setting aside a day of volunteerism known as “Brand It Blue Day.”
On Saturday, June 11, Express Employment Professionals offices from California to North Carolina to Canada will join together at local food banks and pantries across North America to help fight hunger—a growing epidemic that impacts millions of people in the U.S., Canada and around the world every day.
“Brand It Blue Day continues to be an amazing act of service where our franchise locations come together for one great cause to help people in the communities that have supported us through the years,” said Bob Funk, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Express Employment Professionals.
“The summertime is an especially difficult season for children who depend on the meals they receive at school. The donations we receive will help provide meals for children and their families in our communities.”
More than one-third of those helped by food banks in Canada are children, and in the U.S., one in five children live in food-insecure households, not knowing where their next meal will come from.
Nationwide, more than 235 Express Employment Professionals offices in 41 states along with offices in five provinces in Canada will participate in Brand It Blue Day. More than 2,600 volunteers across North America are expected to turn out for the day of service. To find a participating office, visit ExpressPros.com/BrandItBlueDay.
Express Employment Professionals puts people to work. It generated $3.02 billion in sales and employed a record 500,002 people in 2015.
