Always Best Care Franchise Owners Give Back to Help Victims of Baton Rouge, Louisiana Flooding

Shonda Boudet, owner of the Always Best Care Senior Services of Baton Rouge, Louisiana started the Love Starts Here campaign to help local families that were impacted by the flooding in August. The campaign, which was initially focused on raising funds for the recent police-involved shootings in Baton Rouge, shifted its emphasis to unite the community by providing relief for those impacted by the flood of August 2016. Since beginning the initiative, Boudet surpassed her $10,000 goal and has raised more than $30,000 in donations. Shonda is in the process of starting a non-profit organization to begin applying those funds to help those in need.

In addition to Boudet’s efforts, the franchise owners of Always Best Care of Central Connecticut, Kristine and John Lajeunesse, have also been collecting food, supplies, toys and other products in their local community to help those directly affected by the Baton Rouge flood. The owners’ charitable efforts were recently featured on their local FOX affiliate.
