Jersey Mike’s Subs Raises $2.1 Million for Charities
Jersey Mike’s Subs raised an unprecedented $2.1 million for more than 100 different charities nationwide by joining with its generous customers in March during the Fourth Annual “Month of Giving.”
Customers were invited to visit their local Jersey Mike’s restaurant and make donations to a local designated charity partner. The campaign culminated in Jersey Mike’s “Day of Giving” March 26, a daylong nationwide event when 100 percent of sales were donated to each local charity partner. Recipients included hospitals, youth organizations, food banks and more.
Last year’s event raised $1.7 million for 86 local charities. Since 2010, Jersey Mike’s locations throughout the country have raised nearly $10 million for worthy local charities and have distributed more than 750,000 free sub sandwiches to help numerous causes.
