I’m an IFA member, how do I get involved?

Can I register as an individual to describe a charity that I support?
You do register individually (as in, with your own name) but upon registration you are asked to align yourself and your charitable activity with a company, whether it be a franchisor, specific franchisee, or a supplier.
What kinds of businesses, foundations and organizations can register?
Franchising Gives Back was established to celebrate acts of charity and exemplary community leadership within the franchising community, so our efforts are focused on businesses, foundations and organizations that are somehow involved in the franchise space. More often than not, this included franchisors, franchisees and supplier members to the franchise community.
Can I participate in Franchising Gives Back if I am not an IFA member?
We encourage all contributions to Franchising Gives Back. However, if you are not an IFA member, please visit our website to get involved.
If my business – franchisor, franchisee, or supplier – supports more than one charity, can I register for each one?
There are absolutely no limits on how many charitable acts or organizations you can contribute to, and certainly no limitations on how many you can tell us about! Once you sign up and align yourself with a franchisor, franchisee, or supplier, you can enter, upload and share as many charitable updates as you wish.
How can I become a partner?
Becoming a Franchising Gives Back partner is a wonderful way to let the franchise community know that your company supports the IFA Educational Foundation in its efforts to encourage charitable acts and community leadership across the nation and around the world. The Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 non profit and donations are tax deductible. Simply fill out a partner request form and we’ll get back to you with all the information you’ll need. If I become a partner, how are my contributions used?
Your support as a Franchising Gives Back Partner will help us expand awareness efforts and encourage more IFA members to give back to their local communities, thus creating a multiplier effect. Your donations will support our website, a National Registry, an Annual Awards Program, a Franchising Gives Back Best Practices Guide for Charitable Support Activities, and an extensive national and local public relations and communications program.
