Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – Anago Cleaning Systems (Anago) announced the recent endowment of a yearly scholarship for deserving students enrolled in the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
“Scholarship gifts from our local business partners help the university attract exceptional students and offer them assistance to better enjoy their educational experience,” said J. Preston Jones, Dean of the School of Business and Entrepreneurship. “Anago Cleaning Systems’ generosity will not only touch our students’ lives every day, but inspire them to give back to others in need and make a difference in the world.”
Povlitz and Mollica are the, co-founders of Anago Cleaning Systems, a commercial cleaning franchise system with more than 35 Master Franchises and 2,400 Unit Franchisees in the U.S. and internationally..Adam Povlitz, Executive Vice President of Anago Cleaning Systems, along with other staff members, created the idea for the scholarship on behalf of their founders to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the company and thank Povlitz and Mollica for all the contributions they have made over the decades. They chose Nova because of the school’s commitment to entrepreneurship.
“This scholarship is an opportunity for Anago Cleaning Systems to give back to our founders and contribute in an area that has always been important to them – entrepreneurism” said Adam Povlitz. “ Nova’s Entrepreneurship program is the perfect dedication to my father and Terry Mollica, as it has courses in leadership, franchise management, and professional selling. The curriculum is the right mix of business entrepreneurship that will help mold these students into the next generation of American business leaders.”
Povlitz added that not many schools in the nation offer extensive guidance and education for the franchise industry, and believes this step will help more students looking into franchising to get a leg up on the competition.
