One of every four Meals on Wheels served in a seven-county area of Pennsylvania is funded through the efforts of Home Helpers Community Service.In addition, awareness of the specific challenges facing returning veterans is much higher than it once across the region, reflected not only by the success of these efforts but the engagement of veterans organizations in the region who gain exposure through this program. Furthermore, many families are safer and more secure in their own homes with their loved ones due to the no-cost certified Caregiver training.
