Chris Kyle Frog Foundation and PIRTEK Partner to Support Military and First Responder Marriages Through “Nitro” Retreat Series

Chris Kyle Frog Foundation (CKFF) and PIRTEK today announced a partnership to help support military and first responder marriages and families. PIRTEK, a leading provider of fluid transfer solution products and services, is sponsoring the “Nitro Experience” Revitalization Retreats in 2017.

Held at scheduled drag races across the United States, the Nitro retreats are offered four times a year in various locations throughout the country.

“These men and women sacrifice so much for our safety and well-being,” said Georganne DeSeve, PIRTEK marketing manager. “Their jobs entail a great deal of stress on a daily basis. Helping them reconnect as couples allows them to get away from it all for a time. PIRTEK is happy to play a role in making this happen.”

In 2016, PIRTEK worked with the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation to provide six military service veterans and first responders an opportunity to be part of an actual pit crew at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. PIRTEK-sponsored Team Murray participated in the TAG Heuer Pit Crew Challenge, a program of the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation that leads up to the Indianapolis 500.

Since the Foundation’s first year, Revitalization Retreats have been vital to supporting the Foundation’s mission “to honor God, country, and families who serve through experiences that strengthen military and first responder marriages and families.” Couples selected through a nomination process are awarded a unique opportunity to downshift from the intensity of mission-focused life, and to reconnect. CKFF’s goal is to provide married military, veteran, and first responder couples one-on-one time to enrich their relationship and remember what they love about each other.

“We are humbled by the dedication to service marriages shown by PIRTEK USA, and their willingness to give back to those who serve us,” said Taya Kyle, Chris Kyle Frog Foundation’s Executive Director and wife of the Foundation’s namesake, Chris Kyle. Chris authored the highly acclaimed memoir, “American Sniper” documenting his life serving as a Navy SEAL sniper. “It’s through meaningful partnerships such as this that allow CKFF to expand our reach and keep these families thriving through the extreme pressures that a life of service creates,” she added.

PIRTEK is the only franchise of its kind in the United States, providing hydraulic and industrial hose replacement sales and services. There are 63 PIRTEK franchises and a fleet of Mobile Service Vehicles throughout the United States. Globally, PIRTEK has more than 400 locations and 2,000 Mobile Service Vehicles in 23 countries. The company encourages U.S. veteran participation by offering them a discount off of the initial franchise fee when they set up a new PIRTEK location.

Launched in 2014, the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation has developed unique programs that focus on effective relationship development strategies for those who dedicate their lives to service, starting with its signature Revitalization Retreats in 2015. Later this year, the Foundation will launch the Mastering Your Marriage experience, a research-based program in partnership with the Diana R. Garland School of Social Work at Baylor University and The University of Texas (UT) at Austin School of Social Work.
