CruiseOne Participates in Make-A-Wish® Southern Florida’s Walk for Wishes®

For the past three years, CruiseOne’s corporate headquarter team has participated in Make-A-Wish® Southern Florida’s annual Walk for Wishes® event and this was the franchisor’s largest team ever. This year 28 people – employees, franchisees, suppliers and family members – participated in the event which was held at Markham Park in Sunrise, Fla. The team raised $2,575, which is enough money to partner in granting the heartfelt wish of a very deserving child in South Florida, whatever their wish may be.

“We are incredibly lucky to work in an industry where we get to see people take their dream vacations every day. And now, we’ve helped be part of giving a local child their wish come true,” said Andrea Giraldo, special events manager for CruiseOne.

Being part of something larger has always been an important cornerstone at World Travel Holdings, CruiseOne’s parent company, and with 75 percent of wishes involving travel, it was fitting to officially partner with Make-A-Wish in 2011. The company has raised more than $500,000 since the partnership began four years ago.
