Home Services Brands Deliver Comfort to Children’s Hospital

Critical piece of equipment will be purchased, providing comfort to families that their children are getting the best care.

Las Vegas, NV (April 7, 2015) – One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning®, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing® and Mister Sparky® electric, part of the Direct Energy family of brands, donated $25,000 and more than 50 stuffed animals to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The donation was made at St. Rose Dominican Hospital in Las Vegas, which is affiliated with Children’s Miracle Network. The hospital will use funds like this to purchase a critical piece of equipment called a pediatric SonoSite.  It assists in placing central lines via ultrasound making the procedure more accurate and safer for tiny patients.

A group of franchise owners from the companies were in Las Vegas for their annual convention and were pleased to make this donation. The funds came from DE in Motion which is an annual event that encourages employees to lead a more active and healthy lifestyle. Employees also assembled the stuffed animals during the convention. This donation is part of an ongoing partnership between the three home services brands and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
