Jersey Mike’s donating 100% percent of sales to local charities on March 25th
FastCasual.com – Jersey Mikes, a fast casual sub shop, is gearing up for its “Day of Giving” promotion, which deems 100 percent of sales at participating Jersey Mike’s Subs nationwide be donated to more than 120 local charities.
Charities include schools, hospitals, youth organizations, food banks and more. This is Jersey Mike’s 5th Annual March “Month of Giving” fundraising campaign, held every year on the last Wednesday in March.
Customers can visit their local Jersey Mike’s restaurant and donate to that location’s designated charity partner. Last year’s “Month of Giving” initiative raised $2.1 million for 100 different charities nationwide, the company said in an announcement
“I would like to extend a personal invitation to come in and enjoy a Jersey Mike’s sub on Wednesday, March 25, our Day of Giving, when 100 percent of sales go to amazing charities throughout the country,” said Peter Cancro, Jersey Mike’s founder and CEO, in a statement. “This year, we hope to raise more than $2.5 million to support local causes, bring hope to all those involved with the charities and make a difference in people’s lives.”
