Primrose School of Eagle Springs makes donation to St. Jude Children’s Cancer Research Hospital

Primrose School of Eagle Springs demonstrated its commitment to making a difference in the Humble and Houston community this year beginning with a Spring Fling fundraiser to help raise awareness and raise money for worthwhile causes.

This year’s event raised $14,000, which was split between St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Houston and the Primrose Children’s Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports organizations that focus on the needs of children and families.

“At Primrose, we’re committed to teaching our students about helping others and giving back to the community year-round with our Helping Hands program,” said Paula Morgan, Franchise Owner at Primrose School of Eagle Springs. “We asked our families to choose a local children’s organization to support and they chose St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.”

Heidi Castaneda, representing St Jude Children’s Research Hospital accepted the donation of $6,919.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is internationally recognized for its pioneering research and treatment of children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.

Ranked one of the best pediatric cancer hospitals in the country, St. Jude is the first and only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center devoted solely to children.

Giving back to the community is a key component of Primrose Schools’ exclusive Balanced Learning System, which balances character development with academics and play, and is designed to help establish the Right Foundation to Build Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Heart.
