Rent-A-Center Helps Strike Out Hunger with the North Texas Food Bank

Since 2003, Rent-A-Center has sponsored an annual campaign to support the North Texas Food Bank. The campaign is spearheaded by Rent-A-Center’s corporate coworkers who use creativity and a serving spirit to raise funds and awareness.

This year, department teams from the company’s headquarters spent four Fridays hosting creative events and implementing out-of-the-box activities to raise $59,442. Rent-A-Center provided an additional $50,000 corporate donation to bring this year’s total to $109,442 which will provide over 328,000 meals to those in need within Dallas and its surrounding counties.

The proceeds from Rent-A-Center’s 13th annual campaign brings the total Rent-A-Center has donated to North Texas Food Bank’s fight against hunger to over $900,000 to date.

“Improving the quality of life for those we serve is at the heart of Rent-A-Center’s mission,” stated Senior Vice President of RAC Franchising International, Cathy Skula. “We are committed to strengthening the communities where we do business and believe we can make a difference by supporting organizations like NTFB that help families thrive.”
