The Neighborly Project Honors Veteran with Home Repair Services

Earlier this year, Neighborly, a community platform of specialty home services, launched The Neighborly Project. This home improvement initiative honored a local veteran with complimentary home repair services. The project kicked off in Jacksonville, Florida on March 1st when the public was invited to nominate a former enlisted serviceman or woman who was honorably discharged from service and lives in an older home in the Jacksonville area that could benefit from Neighborly’s services, which range from restoration, appliance repair, window and shower glass repair/replacement to plumbing, window and gutter cleaning, maid services and painting.

Local Neighborly brands including Mr. Rooter Plumbing, Glass Doctor, Mr. Appliance, Mr. Handyman, Window Genie, Rainbow International and Molly Maid, all joined forces to help the Hearman family by providing assistance on various renovation projects around their home including plumbing work, sliding glass door replacement, carpet and tile cleaning, power washing and more.
