“Valpak Saves” Contest Prize Reaches $35,500 for Nearly a Dozen Non-profits
At the Valpak national conference — Coupon U — Cox Target Media President Michael Vivio challenged the 170-unit Valpak franchise network throughout North America to “save something” in their communities and earn thousands of dollars for the non-profit of their choice.
By introducing the “Valpak Saves” contest at the company’s convention, the company inspired franchisees to plant trees, feed the homeless and mentor kids. Twenty-two franchises logged hundreds of volunteer hours for this community outreach contest.
The contest total hit $35,000 after two Valpak owners donated the proceeds of their winning bid in a special auction featuring a painting by graffiti artist Erik Wahl.
